Deputy Manager – Children’s Home

My client is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager for their Children’s Homes based in Buxton, Derbyshire.

The home offers care and support to children that have emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties through a tailored independence program to meet their individual needs.

As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Running the home in the absence of the manager
* Maintain good professional practices in accordance with the minimum standards
* Help create a positive environment for each young person
* Contributing to the children’s care plans and risk assessments, their review and implementation
* Contributing to the educational and social development of each individual
* Forming effective relationships with both the residents and their families
* Dispensing, recording and administering medication as required.

You must be articulate, numerate and literate in addition to having a NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People.

This is a permanent full time role and comes with a Salary: £26,000 – £30,000+ depending upon experience.
