Warehouse Manager

Salary: £26,400 – £31,200 per year

Our client is a rapidly expanding online retalier with exciting expansion plans and brand new premises.
Warehouse/Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
* Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.
* Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates.
* Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
* Implementing operational policies and procedures.
* Implementing and overseeing security operations.
* Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
* Ensuring safety of staff.
* Motivating and disciplining staff.
* Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse and logistics activities.
* Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
* Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
* Assisting with deliveries where required.
* Evaluate budgets and expenditures.
Warehouse Manager Requirements:
* 5+ years warehouse management experience.
* Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
* Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
* Valid drivers’ license.
* Ability to operate forklift effectively.
* Proficient computer skills.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
* Strong people skills.
* Available to work extended hours.
