Salary: £28.8 – £30 per hour

Our client is looking to recruit an experience HR & Payroll Manager to process in excess of 400 staff on both weekly & monthly payrolls combined with responsibility for HR database. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you will be a key contact for all HR/payroll related matters including the accurate calculations & submission of all employment taxes, company pension & Apprenticeship levy. Confident & calm working to strict deadlines with a focus on resolution of any queries in a quick and efficient manner. The role will be responsible for a Payroll Administrator.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* HR Support to business when needed on basic Employee issues

* Ensure payrolls are processed accurately weekly and monthly with a mix of salary, weekly & hourly pay with various driver bonus schemes.

* Processing of starters and leavers & ensuring HR database and payroll systems are updated along with any correspondence.

* Annual P11D & P60’s any other adhoc reporting

* HMRC RTI Submissions & Pensions submissions.

* Responsibility for New starter information and right to work checks for compliance before any payments are processed. Manage process accordingly.

* Maintain all necessary records for statutory purposes & regular audit.

* Respond to employee queries quickly and efficiently with all queries.

* Keep up to date with new legislation regarding changes to employment taxes and provide bulletins to report to senior management.

* Reporting on Retention/Sickness & other people KPI’s on a monthly basis.

* Support development/implementation of enhanced employee benefits & source opportunities to provide best package to budget.

KEY SKILLS

* Experience & qualifications within HR MCIPD/CIPD

* Experience with Sage Payroll & min of 5 years experience in payroll

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organisational skills

* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
