Production Operative

This job would suit a motivated individual who has previous experience with these day to day duties

* Documentation: Clear and accurate completion of assembly and rework documentation which is correctly stamped and dated to ensure full traceability is maintained throughout the build and test processes
* Assembly: Carry out the assembly, of both PCB’s and mechanical assemblies, using predetermined programs, detailed work instructions or drawings to the required company standard and/or programme standards.
*Improvements and Innovation: Suggest ways for improving the productivity of the build methodology and processes.
*Housekeeping: Adhere to and promote the 5S’s standards of housekeeping
Be able to read drawings or detailed work instructions using Pick & Place machinery other equipment and tooling provided.

Education/Experience
*Excellent soldering standards on PTH and SMT technology to meet the requirements of the defence and aerospace
*Experience of Surface Mount Pick (SMT) & Place Machinery and Surface Mount rework an advantage
*The ability to work from drawings and written process instructions
*Accuracy and attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills
*Self Motivated
*Ability to work within a team
