Trade Plate Driver

Come and work for IT Fleet as a Trade Plate Driver.

Currently recruiting Nationwide, IT Fleet Automotive is looking for individuals who are self-motivated and able to communicate well with others. Experience working as a Trade Plate Driver is not essential but applicants should display a professional manner, have lots of common sense, a good knowledge of the UK roads and a UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Daily duties involve delivering and collecting vehicles from various locations throughout the UK, completing electronic appraisals through our in-house system fleet plus, marking and imaging any damage to the vehicle and following policy and procedures. You will need to make your own way to each job through means of train, bus etc.

This is a self employed role where you will benefit from extensive training, a dedicated Transport team who allocate your work load, electronic tablet, fuel card, trade plates, insurance and a uniform.

It is essential you have off road parking, i.e garage/driveway for vehicles as on many occasions you will take vehicles home which cannot be parked on the public highway.
