Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year

One of the world’s largest corporate law firms is seeking a Credit Controller to join a team providing world class financial services to the business and its clients. You’ll be someone who wants to be the best at what they do; who can handle pressure and enjoys making decisions that will have a real impact on the business

Your role as Credit Controller will be vital in ensuring the firm maximizes client turnover and minimizes bad debts through effective interpretation and application of the firms Credit Policy.

Key Responsibilities
-Provide a robust collection service within your nominated Practice Group, you will report in to the Credit Manager.
-Responsible for ensuring your performance meets your client’s needs, whilst being target driven to meet and exceed the Firm’s targets.
-Work as part of a fast paced, supportive and dynamic team, your remit will encompass all aspects of the credit control function including:

-Collection of high value accounts
-KPI performance
-Ledger reviews
-Compliance

Collaborate with all key stakeholders including internal and external clients, commercial accountants and business analysts to develop, communicate and execute credit strategies.

Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
-Experience of complex credit control for a large organisation
-Proven success in a fast paced credit control environment handling high volume high value clients
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-A target driven focus

Key competencies:
-We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
-A clear understanding of a credit control policies
-Passionate about service and building strong internal and external relationships
-An ability to communicate effectively with the team, senior management, stakeholders and clients
-Highly organised and have strong interpersonal skills
-Good IT skills and a knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
