Senior and E C & I Engineers

Salary: £48 – £57.6 per hour

Our client is seeking a number of talented Senior & E C & I Engineers to work on an ongoing contract basis just outside Warrington, Cheshire (12 months renewable contracts).

The Senior EC&I Engineer will lead the team promoting effective co-operation across Engineering and the other functional teams, ensuring correct procedures, standards and codes are applied, including regular liaison with the project stakeholders and site personnel to review work in progress.

These roles involve working in a highly regulated industry so extensive experience in a similar environment is required.

You’ll be working in a technically advanced environment alongside a team of incredibly innovative and talented engineers.

Skills:

Engineers must be able to competently use AutoCAD and have demonstrable experience and knowledge in the application of legislative and design standards and specifications.

Experience required:

• Control panel/desk design.
• Cable specification, cable containment and management.
• Production of BCD’s and wiring diagrams, schematics, general arrangements etc.
• Design of LV distribution/systems.
• Design of instrumentation systems.
• Production of documentation supporting design i.e. OIMS, DRA’s etc.
• Demonstrable experience of liaison with project stakeholders and site personnel (Senior position).

Additional skills which will be beneficial:

• Group Motor Starter Specification with DOL and/or VSD.
• Trimble (Amtech) experience – cable calc/fault calc software experience.
• DIALux/Rilux experience – experience in lighting calc software.
• Experience/knowledge re the design of PES, SCADA, DCS systems.
• Experience or support of installations, setting to works, testing, commissioning and production of applicable documentation.

Essential – Security Clearance:

You will need to be or be able to be SC cleared for this role.

Regrettably the roles are inside IR35 however, they are long-term. 

Rates are somewhat negotiable depending on experience, qualifications and nuclear industry exposure.
