We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, to lead a team of Practitioners in delivering outstanding services in our all-female therapeutic unit in SW8.

Residential Team Manager
Location: Yvonne House on Wandsworth Road (SW8 4TE) and office on Lambeth Walk (SE11 6EE)
Salary: £49,000 to £53,000 per annum + On-Call Allowance £2,000 + Pension + Travel
Hours: Full-time (40hrs pw), working flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and participation in the Managers’ on-call rota.

A good communicator, you will be confident, forward-thinking, passionate and authentic. You will also have applied knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.

We have a strong track record in providing excellent semi-independent provision to young people aged 16+, and in scoring outstandingly in all service reviews. Our plan is to offer the same outstanding quality to children aged 14-17 by registering with Ofsted.

Do you have?

At least 5 years’ experience of social work in Children’s Services: including child protection, care proceedings and looked-after children, while undertaking the full range of social work tasks with children in need and their families.
Experience of bringing together and co-ordinating the team around the child to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to safeguarding, as well as Assessment, Planning, Implementation.
Ability to promote an inclusive culture of co-design that best enables young people to have their voices heard.

Strong values and a commitment to inclusion, diversity and equality.
The Level 5 Managers’ Diploma – if you do not hold this qualification then we will support you to achieve this within the timeframe set in the Children’s Homes Regulations.
