Writer/Editor
Based in Suffolk

Based in rural offices in Suffolk, our client is seeking a full time permanent Writer/Editor to join their highly successful team.
In this role as Writer/Editor you will be writing news and articles for a wide range of print, online and multi-media publications as well as researching topics and subject areas. Our client is a small specialised team who cover international agriculture and rural development subjects with a key focus on Africa.

Candidates must be well organised, with

* Excellent verbal and written English skills
* An excellent eye for detail
* A confident and professional approach to client correspondence
* Good ICT skills with the ability to learn new programs quickly
* The ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
* An interest in agriculture/sustainable development
* Experience of copy editing and proof reading is essential
* Proven experience in publishing and/or writing within a professional environment would be advantageous
* Applications will also be considered from graduates with a relevant degree (2:1 Hons or higher), such as in Development Studies, Geography, Journalism or Natural Science, or related subjects, and a proven interest in rural or agricultural development.

Salary will depend on experience and qualifications – ranging from £26,000per year. Own transport is essential due to the rural location of our client.
