Salary: £26,000 – £27,592.5 per year

Job Purpose:

The regional Workplace Assistant will be responsible for supporting the provision of client focused service in their building through the application of policy and best practice.

This role is part time – Monday to Friday 8.00 to 12.00pm

Key Responsibilities:

* To ensure adequate cover at all times in conjunction with any service providers.

* To support in ensuring the office working environment and workplace services supporting the business achieve financial and qualitative standards, meet customer expectations, and are continually improved.

* To operate as the local “eyes and ears” of the workplace team bringing any areas of improvement or issues to the local Workplace Coordinators attention.

* To encourage a self-help ethos within the business and ensure that all Workplace related incidents are logged via the ISS FM Helpdesk

* As a Workplace Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the safety and security of all building and EY office users

* Undertake workplace servicetrac audits, (daily, weekly, monthly)

* Document and own actions following audit

* Housekeeping communal areas, quiet/study booths, internal meeting rooms, hot desks

* Housekeeping vending and kitchenettes

* Support the WPC with completion of office tidy ‘Tornado’ days on an ad-hoc basis

* Implement and deliver responsibilities as detailed below in ‘WPC H&S Responsibilities’

* Manual Handling

* Local office inductions

* Support local office risk assessments

* Fire Marshall

* First Aider

Qualifications & Experiences:

* Knowledge and understanding of the health and safety relevant to the office inc. Fire, First Aid DSE, and Accident reporting.

* Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Awareness of the impact upon the firm of legislative, technological, or other changes, with the ability to respond effectively

* A general awareness of workplace services and operations

* Good IT skills and ability to use application-based software
