WordPress Developer

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

WordPress Developer – Leeds – £25k – £35k + benefits

Our client is a well-established digital agency based in Leeds, due to continued growth and expansion they are now looking to recruit a WordPress Developer to support the business in the delivery of technology related development projects which are customer focused. You will be responsible for building and developing a broad range of digital platforms to support design, planning, UX and UI. All development projects are user-centred in their design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot and support any server issues that arise in conjunction with a development solution.

* Ensure that each project prioritises the user experience over the easiest programming route.

* Stay on top of new technology and techniques to ensure we stay current and relevant.

* Using and maintaining an GIT repository to ensure continuity

Requirements:

* Proficiency with PHP languages

* Ability to work and manipulate MSSQL & MySQL databases

* Familiarity with creating & implementing WordPress.

* Proficiency with HTML, HTML5, CSS3, SASS to build pages.

* Understanding of responsive CSS frameworks including, but not limited to Bootstrap, Foundation & JQuery UI

* Familiarity with client side scripting including JavaScript and JQuery.

* Good understanding of any of the following: Windows Server, IIS, Linux, Apache or DNS configuration.

* Ability to manipulate and slice images in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator & Photoshop)
