Our client is an award winning highly established travel firm / tour operator and a division of a group of companies that employ 20,000 within the UK. A role has arisen for a Windows Systems Engineer to join the Windows Server Support team

Skills / Environment
Enterprise wide Ms Windows 2010 / Ms Windows 2008 Server support and administration
Windows Active Directory / AD (*within a complex environment)
Virtualisation (VMWare)
Group policy management, DNS, DHCP and server administration
Wintel applications and monitoring tools.
MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA desirable

Responsibilities
Manage the integrity of the Wintel environment across the Group and develop the environment to keep pace with changing business demands
Assist with maintaining the enterprise virtualisation environment (VMware
Ensure server environment meet proper performance, security and capacity standards.
Backup, disaster recovery and patching
Enterprise server & application monitoring.
Enterprise security, systems and asset management solution
Enterprise anti-virus solution. *
Fault diagnosis
Software upgrades and patches
Group policy management, DNS, DHCP
