Wide Slitting Machine Operator/Setter
Area: Smethwick, Birmingham
Pay: £14.4 /hr + shift allowance
Hours: 2pm-10pm Mon – Thurs
Work 4 days and get paid for 5 with our shift allowance scheme.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Slitting Machine Setter/Operator to join a well-known established engineering company in the West Bromwich area.
This role is offered on a full time temporary to permanent basis
As a Slitting Setter/Operator your duties will include:
* Working within a busy, fast paced Industrial / Production environment
* Manufacturing a variety of products with Steel
* Setting tooling and Operating Wide Slitting machines
* Working as part of a close team and have the initiative to work on your own accord
* Ensuring customer daily KPI’S are met.
As a Slitting Setter/Operator you will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience of working in a production environment
* Strong Slitting Machine Operating & Setting experience
* Ability to work with Steel
* Working in a fast-paced role
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to travel to West Bromwich
* Candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours
Overtime is available everyday paid at premium rates.
