Whole Vehicle Software Engineer
A client we have worked with for 4 years is having a huge recruitment drive in its R&D team as part of long-term growth strategies and is looking for a Whole Vehicle Software Engineer.
The successful Software Engineer will lead the software integration activities and have experience of new product development within an EV automotive environment.
The client is looking for dynamic individuals with excellent technical abilities with a can0do attitude and the desire to strive to get it right first time.
Duties will include:
- Building SoRs and manage software development suppliers – this isn’t a hard coding role.
- Develop and present integration plans and simulate faults and failures with compliance in mind.
- Propose improvements.
- Support Whole Vehicle integration requirements.
- Assess vehicles through virtual development, including Virtual Series and physical testing.
- Work with Engineering and Quality teams to provide a technical voice for customer expectations.
You must:
- Have degree level education in Automotive, Electrical or Software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Can-do attitude
- Can generate and present technical material in a concise manner.
- Good communication skills
