This position is a central point of contact in the team, assisting at multiple points in the sales process and collaboratively contributing towards the team sales target.  The main purpose of the role is to ensure customer enquiries and queries are responded to promptly, and each enquiry is maximised to contribute to our sales growth plans.​

​Your responsibilities will include:

Taking and qualifying incoming leads and enquiries from various sources, including responding to customer queries
Understand the needs and pain points of the customer, and ensure excellent customer response, providing a fit for purpose solution, using cross-selling and upselling for a full package
Follow-up opportunities and close orders, ensuring the CRM system is kept accurately up to date throughout
Provide support to external Account Managers, and demonstrate a proactive approach to sales
Qualifications & Experience:

No specific qualifications required
Previous sales experience preferred, especially Business to Business, and/or in the Construction/Fit out industry
A practical mindset and basic understanding of building/construction is desirable
Skills:

Intelligent questioning skills to uncover strategic customer information
Strong communication skills, able to get past gatekeepers and build good rapport with customers
Self-motivated but collaborative, working to a team result, with willingness to pass projects and enquiries over to other team members when required, and an openness to feedback
Understanding of sales cycle and negotiating techniques (training available), along with competence at using IT systems, and technical know-how and product knowledge
Excellent sales skills and track record of working to and achieving KPIs, along with being organised, showing good planning and prioritising skills
