We are working with an education provider in the Northamptonshire area who are looking for a Welding & Maintenance Engineering Teacher to join their team.

The position is a permanent full-time role, comprising of 37 hours per week, and successful candidate will be required to teach on the EAL level 3 TIG Welding unit & Engineering Maintenance unit. There would also be some teaching on the BTEC Engineering Maintenance unit. All units carry both practical and knowledge based assessments so the mix of workshop/classroom will vary, but the role is largely practical.

The starting salary for this position is between £30,856.8 and £41,604 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), which would also include a teacher’s pension, and a very generous non-term time holiday allowance.

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 engineering qualification
-Experience of TIG welding
-Experience of Mechanical Maintenance
