What are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented and experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our Production Team in Nottingham. You will hold a coded standard of welding and demonstrate an experienced knowledge welding for high quality products built to withstand harsh environments.

What are we looking for?

A candidate who is / has:

  • a recognised welding qualification and must hold a coded standard of welding.
  • a strong background with a minimum of 3 years of welding experience.
  • able to perform a high standard of welding on mild, stainless, and Zintec materials (typically 2.5mm – 3.5mm) and also weld switchboard plinths.
  • willing to support / train apprentice welders and drive their performance and development.
  • experienced in Mig and Tig welding.
  • able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
  • able to inspect workflows to ensure that robust technical and quality standards are adhered to.
  • able to devise work plans to efficiently carry out daily welding / fabrication.
  • able to effectively communicate using both verbal and written communication.
  • able to organise and prioritise work effectively.
  • able to take instructions with positivity and a can-do attitude.
  • the ability to encourage others, demonstrate energy and drive to grow with the company.
  • flexible and ready to undertake a variety of different and related tasks.
  • pride in good housekeeping and organisation.
  • willing to support a culture of continuous improvement, identify best practices and share knowledge and skills with other members of the Production Team.
  • capable of communicating potential issues and providing solutions / rationalising corrective actions / procedures.
  • willing to work overtime (at overtime rates) if required to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • able to currently work in UK and within a commutable distance to our Nottingham factory.

We believe it is important to be transparent with our salary offer at the outset, being £27,000 – £31,000 per annum. Negotiable based on experience.

Full time in the Nottingham factory. Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm. Friday 7:30-11am.
