Welder Fabricator / Crane Fitter

We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join the team in fitting bodies and some cranes. If you have welding, fabrication and mechanical fitting skills then we want to hear from you today.

Key Responsibilities:

Support to the Workshop Management Team in:

Working from drawings supplied by the Technical Department:
1) Fabricate crane sub-frames, requiring the following skills:
a)Reading technical drawings.
b)Marking out the chassis and sub-frame.
c)Drilling.
d)Fabricating steel sub-frames from steel box section, steel channel and steel sheet metal.
e)Mig welding.

2) Mount cranes onto sub-frames, requiring the following mechanical activities:
a)Mechanical Engineering fitting skills.
b)Hydraulic and Pneumatic fitting skills.
c)Electrical Engineering skills.

Check Parts Kits and determine parts requirements.

Occasional tasks as directed by management.

Promotion of Health and Safety.

Maintenance of clean working areas, internal and external.
