WRS Tech Shipbuilding is currently recruiting for a number of Welders to be based in Northern Ireland.

We are looking to speak to Mig and Stick Welders who must be currently coded and have a 111 or 136 coding, they must have been stamped up to date within the last 6 months (we will require copies).

Typical work will include:
Welding heavy constructions in all positions (mild steel)
Joining sections, head joints
Understanding size of fillet forms
Cleaning and preparing weld for inspection

Skills & Experience:
Work experience in trade or apprenticeship served (shipyard industry preferably)
Relevant qualifications and skills in trade (heavy engineering sector).
Must have current Lloyds welding certificates for MIG(136).

This is a contract position.

8 months minimum work but could stretch up to 2 years work

Flights and Travel paid, £35 a day digs money, Lots of hours work

The rate for this position is negotiable.
