With the possibility of permanent placements, we are currently looking to recruit in the Sherburn in Elmet area, for Weekend HGV Truck drivers.

Our Client offers complete supply chain solutions utilizing high quality infrastructure, modern facilities and proven systems to meet and exceed the expectations of its customers. This infrastructure has been developed to support and cultivate a ‘can do’ approach to offering supply chain solutions within the following specific marker sectors and services, as well as providing all the general logistic services.

What do we need from you?

As with any job in the transport and logistics sector, flexibility is key. With weekend night shifts available, and different runs on offer, we are looking for someone who is open minded, adaptable and overall flexible.

A short list of things we would need:

Full Class 1 Licence
Driving work undertaken for at least 90 days in the last 180
A good understanding of spoken and written English
A happy outlook on life and a professional approach Obviously, a knowledge of the local area would be great, but with modern technology these days, it isn’t always required.So now we have told you what we need from you, we bet you are wondering what exactly is in it for you! Now for the legal bits!

Whilst we will accept up to 6 points on your driving licence, there must be no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
You must have a Digi Tachograph Card and have a good understanding of the Working Time Regulations.
You will need your DCPC Card – although Transline do offer CPC training so don’t be put off if you haven’t quite finished your class room hours yet!
