Weekend Grounds Maintenance Driver
Feltham, Middlesex
£26,000 per year (40 hours per week)
Ongoing, part time position
Our local authority client requires a part time, ongoing Grounds Maintenance Driver to work on weekends from 7.30am to 4.30pm. Work takes place in parks and open, public spaces throughout the year.
As a weekend Grounds Maintenance Driver, you will work as part of a team to deliver basic gardening and cleaning services on behalf of the local council.
Candidates must have a full, manual driving licence and be prepared to work every Saturday and Sunday. Candidates with gardening experience are preferred along with people who enjoy working outdoors and being near animals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Grass and hedge cutting using petrol mowers and strimmers
* Litter picking and sweeping
* Driving a 3.5tn van from one location to another
* Leaf clearance and gritting during the autumn and winter
* Customer service focused as dealing with members of the public
Essential Skills/ Experience:
* A good team player
* The ability to build strong working relationships
* Reliable and excellent timekeeper
* Full, manual driving licence
* Able to work every weekend
Candidates will require steel toe-cap boots and must be prepared to work in all weathers.
