Wedding and Events Sales Executive – Birmingham
£25-30k pa plus Commission
Monday to Friday – flexible working hours
Office based/WFH/Hybrid working available
My client is a professional wedding, corporate and fine dining catering company. They have catered for hundreds of weddings, corporate events and private functions and pride themselves on creating unique and exiting dining experiences for their clients. Their menus are carefully planned and presented and beautifully reflect the changing seasons of the UK. They are currently looking for a Sales Executive with experience of selling weddings and events to be responsible for the entire client journey from initial enquiry to deposit paid.
Role and Responsibilities:
Client engagement
Approach client interactions with genuine enthusiasm, warmth and bubbly attitude
Hosting initial phone call with potential clients to establish event requirements and expectations.
Maintain prompt, friendly, and informative communication with potential clients via phone and email.
Be the first point of contact for inquiries, actively addressing questions and providing details about services.
Consultative Selling
Develop a deep understanding of clients’ event visions and catering needs.
Tailor catering proposals and quotes to align with each client’s preferences, budget, and style.
Creatively present menus and offerings in an engaging and appealing manner – working with chefs to discuss bespoke menus.
Proactive Sales
Establish long-lasting connections through personalised follow-ups and consistent communication with past clients – discovering proactive leads for future repeat business.
Maintain an organised CRM system for tracking leads, inquiries, and follow-up actions.
Must have experience:
Wedding Experience and Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for weddings, events, and the joy they bring.
Bubbly Personality: A charismatic and engaging demeanour that draws clients in and creates positive rapport.
Sales Drive: Demonstrated ability and eagerness to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Excellent Communication: Clear, confident, and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal.
Customer-Centric Approach: Dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences.
Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple leads and tasks.
Tech Proficiency: Competency in using CRM software.
