Webmaster & Multi-media Specialist – Web Services Up to £31,200 – £40,800 pa Fixed Term
An exciting position has arisen for a web design and multimedia specialist working within a Corporate Communications Department.
The post holder will be required to: To lead on all aspects of the web technologies used by the company including Internet and Intranet sites To act in the role of Administrator and Primary Editor for content management systems To provide front line support and training for all users of the Content Management System To manage relationships and Service Level Agreements with suppliers.
To co-ordinate, manage and create content for a network of electronic communication noticeboards and screensaver To ensure the company meets and exceeds its governance requirements and best practice with regards to web security and website resilience You’ll need first class communication skills (both written and oral) and a very high level of interpersonal skills.
Furthermore, you’ll require an excellent understanding of web coding/html, CSS3, web accessibility standards and experience with different types of ‘permission based’ content management systems. You’ll have a solid understanding of IT concepts and be knowledgeable on the Adobe and Microsoft suites of software products (particularly Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop). Familiarity with web server and hosting technologies, asp/asp.net and SQL concepts is preferable and would be an advantage.
The role is a fixed 18 month contract, with the view to further appointment. Annual Salary £31,200 – £40,800doe.
