Web Developer (PHP / Perl)

Due to their rapid expansion, the client are now looking for a web developer to come on board and build, develop and maintain client and company websites in line with their objectives and campaigns in a fast-paced, results driven environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to establish and understand briefs in order to meet web requirements and effectively minimise turnaround time. You will be expected to create online surveys, submission forms, campaign codes and campaign landing pages; implement, update and refresh media content media content on websites and monitor the web server and site technical performance so that you can easily recognise, investigate, analyse and document deficiencies in the system and implement effective solutions so that service is maintained at all times.

The successful candidate will have a Higher Education Qualification in an IT related subject or relevant industry experience and expert knowledge of PHP, PERL and at least one other structured programming language. You will also need to be proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and have good project management skills.

Location: Colchester
Salary: £48,000 – £60,000
