Are you an experienced Web Developer looking for your new role? Do you know your way around PHP and JavaScript and want to work for a great organisation to utilise your skills?

We are working with a fantastic South West London based organisation who are looking for a Mid-Senior Web Developer to join their team and take ownership of their website. You will work as the technical lead in development website coding, developing interactive and engaging feature as well as maintaining information systems and databases for the website.

Skills: PHP, Drupal, Javascript, jQuery, CSS, SQL (MySQL)

Core responsibilities:

* Acting as the technical lead in the development, maintenance and integration of the website and its associated microsites

* Liaising with various internal stakeholders across a number of departments

* Lead the development and implementation of the social media optimisation strategy

* Advising and training staff on how to optimise social media posts and implement code changes as required

* Managing and publishing information on the website

* Project managing (in conjunction with the Web and Digital Manager) short to medium term web, database and systems projects for the website.

Core skills and experience:

* Highly motivated proven experience and knowledge of all current web development languages, scripting, databases and security issues.

* Core languages: PHP and good front end knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, CSS along with some knowledge of SQL and MySQL.

* Good working knowledge of Content Management Systems, Web Usability and User Experience design

* Search Engine Optimisation

* Strong understanding of web accessibility requirements and data regulations, (GDPR),

* Proven commercial experience working as Web Developer for 4 plus years

* Able to work both independently and as part of a team,

* Excellent communication skills – stakeholder engagement and team communication
