Salary: £72,000 – £96,000 per year

Description of Essential Job Functions

Creating and maintaining exceptional graphics, webpages, emails, and landing pages following style guidelines that support marketing campaigns, increase engagement and conversion; keeping in mind both desktop and mobile experiences.

Create and edit digital graphics for websites, social media, and other print and digital outlets.

Monitor digital properties in desktop, tablet and mobile viewports to ensure proper content display and functionality: technical SEO, links, images, viewports, analytic tracking, etc.

Monitor website analytics and audit functionality, user experience, and content to ensure accurate and optimized performances. Ensures all the Group’s websites operate properly and maximize SEM & SEO outcomes, including metadata, content, links, URL structures and tracking mechanisms.

Follow all established process for project management, collaboration, communication, document approval, document retrieval and storage. Includes use of Asana, Microsoft Teams, PageProof, Brandfolder and other adopted solutions. Complete workflow steps and clearly track, measure and report project status, project risk factors and solutions for corrective actions. Complete assigned tasks.

Upload images, marketing documents, and videos to the appropriate asset management system for use on the website.

Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.

Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).

Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.

Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.

Complete web tactics and handle workflow and timelines of multiple, simultaneous projects, with prioritization guidance from supervisor

Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related discipline

• An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for color, layout and typography
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as web designer
• Minimum of 3 years experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of CMS (Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, SVG, Mobile-first design and semantic mark-up
• Advanced knowledge of Email Design
• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics
• Advanced Knowledge of SEO and URL management (DMI, SEMRush Academy, HubSpot Academy, etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with photography, 2D or 3D Animation a plus
• Experience with life sciences, biotechnology brands a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, German is a plus
• Comfortable with interacting and working with all levels of customers, both internal and external; good interpersonal skills, team motivation and outgoing personality
