Water Treatment Engineer – North West

Our client is a major and successful player within the water treatment industry and their clients range from large property portfolios, through to commercial, retail, industrial and local authority contracts.

Due to current business needs, they are actively seeking for a Water Treatment Engineer in cover contracts in the North West and will include applications from Greater Manchester, Lancashire and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate must come from a chemical background and must have proven and significant experience working within this role and within the water treatment industry.

Must be fully conversant with current guidelines – (ACOP L8).

Will have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Experience & Duties:

Must have experience in maintaining Water softeners, reverse osmosis (RO), dosing pumps and control system.

Water Hygiene Monitoring.

Chemical cleaning, chlorination and disinfection.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment.

Maintaining and building good relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.

Overall, the successful candidate will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethics and the ability to carry out the work effectively and within time scale and must be prepared extensively.
