Water Hygiene Engineer – South East

Our client is a well-established and growing water hygiene company with a nationwide presence and due to the success and business requirement they are now actively seeking to employ a good calibre and versatile Water Hygiene Engineer based in the South East but will be required to travel further afield to meet business demands and will include applications from London, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The individual must come from a strong chemical background and must have previous relevant experience working within this role and within the water treatment industry.

Will be well versed with the water treatment industry – ACOP L8

Will have good communication skills, both written and verbal and will be IT literate.

Key Role:

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, boilers and cooling towers.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analyzing water systems – closed systems and interpreting the results.

Cleaning and disinfection of CWSTs.

Showerhead cleaning.

Carrying out risk assessments when required.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment – chemical as and when required.

Completing worksheets for work carried out appropriately.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis and dealing within issues or problems effectively and within time line.

Overall, the successful applicant will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good attitude and work independently.

Must be prepared to work within confined space and heights.
