Delivery Driver 3.5

Warings Furniture is a self-reliant, family-run business we design, manufacture and deliver exceptionally high-quality furniture to a variety of restaurants, bars and hotels.

We are looking to recruit flexible and reliable 3.5T Delivery Drivers to join our busy delivery team, you will be required to work on customer sites throughout the UK, for which a pool car/van, tools and uniform will be provided. There will be early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnights.

We are looking for Fully flexible candidates with the following skills and experience:

Good attention to detail and accuracy in all work with the ability to produce quality work.
Excellent general DIY skills with good hands-on/practical knowledge of furniture assembly
Ability to use electric hand tools.
Excellent customer service skills as you will be representing the company.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to use own initiative with effective time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads.
Full, clean driving licence – held over 2 years
Manual handling knowledge (some heavy lifting required)
Good geographical knowledge of the UK
Must be a team player and have a “can-do” attitude
