Warehouseman / Forklift

My client is currently looking for a Warehouse picker/packer,with both counterbalance and reach forklift licences must be current. (at least one forklift licence)

You would also need a clean driving licence as you may need on occasion to driver the transit van, computer literate need as there is a lot of administration

Picking orders from designated locations as per paperwork ensuring all paperwork is completed (sales codes, transfers etc.,).

Adhere to any special customer requirements in sales order memo field

Any stock discrepancies must be reported to the Warehouse Manager

Process all orders as quickly and accurately as possible

Ensure all items are checked against the relevant paperwork including quantities and descriptions.

Ensure all stock handled is located in the correct area

Ensuring All goods received are labelled with an (Company name) inbound label prior to locating.

Day shift only working in a busy environment
Normal hour of work are Moday to Thrusday 0630 -1530 and Friday 0630 – 1230 there is no canteen but a sandwich shop near by

Tidying as you go any spillages must be cleared up immediately,ensuring all reusable boxes are placed in the cage for reuse or recycling

To be as flexible and as accommodating as possible to meet the requirements of a demanding customer.

Must be willing to have a CRB check

Postion would go permanent for the right person
