Job title: Warehouse Team Manager – Retail Distribution (DAYS or NIGHTS)
Location: Tamworth, Atherstone, Nuneaton, Sutton Coldfield
Basic: £25000 – £29,000 plus £3K Shift Allowance
Benefits: Excellent

Overview:
* My client is a growing and ambitious blue chip retailer and they are immediately seeking to appoint several Warehouse Team Managers to work both the DAY and NIGHT shifts.
* You will work 4 x 12 hour shifts in any 7 day period.
* You will be responsible for the day to day management of your team (approx 10) ensuring performance meets agreed targets and standards.

The Candidate:
* You have proven experience of managing and leading teams (of at least 10 people), with full people management responsibility.
* You are a graduate calibre, strong leader with demonstrable experience in a fast paced 24/7 Warehousing environment.
* You have worked in a distribution centre, warehousing, logistics or production environment.
* You have good communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability to deliver direction and motivation in an effective manner.
* You will be joining a brand new facility therefore you will need to be hands-on at times as well as have the flexibility to work alternative shifts when required.

The Role:
* You will lead a team of pickers / packers to effectively meet the demands of the operation.
* You will be responsible for the day to day management of your team (approx 10) ensuring performance meets pre agreed targets and standards.
* You will have full people management responsibility, taking the lead (but with the support of HR where necessary).
* You will manage your team across, Performance Management, Absence Management, Probationary Reviews and Training and Development.
* You will also look for areas of improvement to the operation and recommend these to senior management.
