Warehouse Team Leader – Expiring soon!

Doves Farm Foods are expanding specialist flour millers, breakfast cereal producers and bakers based in Hungerford. Doves Farm Foods requires a Warehouse shift Team leader. An efficient picker, Forklift trained and self-motivated.

Hours of work – 0600 to 1400 Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities for the role are:

• Daily Management of the Warehouse Team work allocation to ensure completion of the Daily Plan
• Picking and checking of orders before despatch
• Loading and unloading of vehicles, checking paperwork and quality of products
• Correct receipt and booking in of deliveries
• Movement and storage of finished goods to ensure FIFO is maintained
• Housekeeping and hygiene of Warehouse and external yard area
• Conduct shift handovers and Team meetings daily
• Identify any issues and lead problem solving
• Escalate any Issues or outstanding items that cannot be resolved
• Motivate and encourage your team
• Health & Safety of Warehouse Staff, other Employees, Contractors and Visitors

Key Attributes  –

The successful candidate will have a positive and professional manner, excellent interpersonal skills, set high standards of performance and behaviour and be a role model.  A current counter balance fork lift licence holder, Hi Reach advantageous. Previous experience of leading a team and reporting against plan would be ideal.
