A small, successful family business that has been established for over 45 years supplying a range of coffees, teas, beverage equipment and associated products to their customers both online and direct to their premises across London and Home counties areas. They have an excellent reputation for the service and products they provide and a team that has been in suite for some time.

Warehouse Supervisor / Stock Controller

This new position is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, organised person seeking a permanent role taking responsibility to oversee this small warehouse operation to ensure continual efficiency at all times. This is a fast paced environment working with a part time member in the warehouse whilst liaising with administration and sales team regarding deliveries and stock requirements.

Duties include:

• Management of stock levels (counting) and liaising with administration team for re-ordering and replacement of damaged supplies when needed.
• Unpacking goods-in, checking quantities correct and good quality.
• Enter goods receipts from Warehouse approved delivery notes
• Liaising with Sales/Administration team regarding orders and preparing for dispatch ensuring quantities are correct and safely packed
• Load van ready for next day deliveries according to route
• Company vehicle check weekly
• Liaise with external couriers ensuring safe and efficient dispatch
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean and is operating efficiently to relevant health and safety requirements

You will:

• Have previous experience of working within a small warehouse environment
• Have excellent communication skills, able to liaise with customers, suppliers and couriers both face to face and via telephone
• Be well organised and able to work within a fast paced environment
• Able to work alone
• Physically fit
• Flexible when needed to work overtime
• Have a stable work history

This position would suit someone that has previous experience of working within a fast paced warehouse that has good organisational, stock and quality control experience.
