Warehouse Supervisor – up to £25,000 + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays – Hours 8.00am – 5.30pm (flexibility when required) – Leicester

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a warehouse supervisor to join a dynamic growing food snack production business. This is no ordinary position and the right candidate will progress to warehouse manager within 1 ½ years as the company expands into the other half of their purpose built facility. You will manage a small effective and hardworking team, who fully understand their roles and responsibilities. The investment and opportunity here is stratospheric for the right person. Someone who is an experienced warehouse supervisor and can come in and make an immediate impact. The ideal candidate would be a strong experienced supervisor looking to progress and develop their career.

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for:

* Co-ordinate the incoming raw materials (goods in)
* Co-ordinate the safe storage of completed products and raw materials in a logical manner, ensuring accurate stock records are kept and updated (including stock taking)
* Co-ordinate the accurate and timely despatch of completed products through 3PL and customer carriers (this is a simple full loads only process)
* Ensuring clear communication is maintained between production, warehouse and the operations manager
* Ensuring health and safety is adhered to by your team and colleagues
* Any other reasonable related activity when required

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will have the following skills or experience:

* Min 2 years supervisor experience in a warehouse environment (production environment desirable but not essential)
* Excellent communicator at all levels
* Experience in working to and meeting tight deadlines
* Knowledge of manual (excel), system driven record keeping and stock counting (A new ERP system is in the process of being trialled)
* Experience in storing products and stock rotation using a logical approach (Not just filling empty racking space where there is a gap. Ensuring the same products and materials are kept together not spread throughout the warehouse)
* A current reach truck license (desirable not essential)
