3x Warehouse Operative/Sorter

Monday – Friday 4pm till 9pm
Bristol
£26,000 per year (depending on experience)

Role Purpose

Working within the warehouse, ensuring materials are sorted and processed in a quick, precise manner ensuring placed in correct connection areas for right day delivery.

Specific Role context

* To deal with the scanning and distribution of parcels.
* To ensure that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed and sorted quickly and efficiently with high levels of precision that meets all areas of process quality and compliance.
* Ensuring scanning compliance is 100% accurate.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
* Process all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with company compliance procedures
* Scan shipments
* Ensure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently.
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
* Manual lifting of shipments is required.
* Adhere to all company Health & Safety, Quality, Security and Environmental compliance standards which also includes the working time directive.
* A computer system will be required to be used during the pursuit of your duties.
* Plan and prepare working practices ensuring maximum efficiency.
* Manage day to day workload and seek support when required.
* Ensure warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after end of shift
* Support and promote company corporate image through well-maintained appearance.
* Adhere to legislation including Health and Safety, Working Time Directive regulations etc.
* Provide administrative and operational tasks, necessary to ensure the correct functioning of the Service Centre.
* Adhere to all company procedures.
* Be able to work within a team environment to deliver measured results.
* Communicate with colleagues ensuring that service delivery levels are consistently high.

Ideal candidates will have:-
* Reliable & good time keeping qualities
* 5 years of continued employment references
* You WILL also need to complete a DBS (CRB) check
