Warehouse Operatives

The Works are recruiting for two Warehouse Operatives for our well-established client in West End, Southampton.

Working in a large Warehouse, you will be working with confidential and sensitive information. Day to day duties include picking of documents at a client’s request. Scanning, packing, loading/unloading.

You would also use a counterbalance and scissor lift forklift but training can be provided. Candidates who already have a counterbalance licence will have a distinct advantage. You will also be able to drive a company transit van for deliveries/collections as and when required. The role involves heavy lifting and lots of walking as the client have 5 buildings in the industrial estate.

The right candidates will have previous warehouse experience. You must have a driving licence with no more than 6 points. The client is looking for enthusiastic candidates that are hardworking and looking for progression. The client offer a great training package.

The roles are starting immediately, temporary – permanent. £26,000 per year (£26,000 per year) Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm, 30 minute unpaid lunch break & paid tea breaks each day. Due to the location, it would be preferred if candidates have their own transport. Free parking.
