Warehouse Operative – Part-Time on Sunday Only

Salary: £18 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time warehouse order pickers to join our team based at our Worksop depot.

Working within our cold store warehouse, your role will involve picking orders using voice picking technology. Picking and packing orders for next-day delivery to our customers, you will be part of a warehouse team driven to deliver excellent customer service.

General Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all orders are picked accurately using ‘voice pick’ technology and deliveries are placed in the appropriate delivery pallets at all times, marking the order size on the delivery notes.
• Working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Logging product shortages and reporting them to the Management Team at the depot at the end of each shift.
• Ensuring all trays are stacked and kept in the designated place before the shift ends.
• Maintaining the depot’s cleanliness and tidiness in work areas at all times.
• Ensuring all PPE issued is worn at all times.

Role details:

• Sunday Pay Rates: We offer a total rate of £18 per hour paid for hours worked between 00.00h and 15:30 and £16.00 per hour paid for hours worked between 15:30 and 23.59, made up from base rates and incentives.
• Shift Pattern: Sunday only
• Shift Times: 08:00 start – 16:30 finish

What we’re looking for

The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with good attention to detail
• Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable
• Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines
• Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
