They are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their driven team at their Ferrybridge Plant, picking, receiving, loading and dispatching stock in line with policies and procedures.
What the job involves…
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will work as part of an empowered team, with Safety culture being a priority, providing an effective, efficient and high quality warehouse and distribution service. In the role, you will assemble, check and load orders onto vehicles for delivery to customers, unload, check and store products in the correct warehouse area, and maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Using the relevant computer systems, you are to book in and out stock, make amendments to load notes and book in goods receipt notes. Reporting any damages and recording them appropriately, you will conduct regular daily cycle product checks, maintain stock rotation and also carry out daily checks on materials handling equipment (MHE).
What we are looking for…
With proven experience in a fast paced pallet volume warehouse, the successful candidate will be educated to GCSE Grade E or above in English and Maths (or equivalent), and will hold a Counterbalance Licence with either RTITB or AITT/ITTSSAR.
Although not essential, an NVQ Level 1 in Warehouse and Distribution, experience of driving a 5.5t capacity forklift or exposure to KPI management would be beneficial.
