Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver

Salary: £18 per hour

An extremely rare position has become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our clients site boutique business in the Ibrox area.

Our client can offer you a role where no two days are the same and you will be dealing with a product that is truly unique.

This is a dual role which will require you to perform both a warehouse role as well as driving. You will be driving all over Scotland, including Aberdeen, Tayside and Edinburgh.

Ideally, you should have previous experience working within a similar background of warehousing and driving.

A full driving licence is essential for this role. No DR’s or DG’s allowed.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 8am to 4pm, however the ideal candidate will have to be flexible and be prepared to start earlier on occasion if required. If you start earlier, you will finish earlier.

Occasional Saturday work may be required. Saturday work is generally only for 1 to 1.5 hours, however you will be paid for 4 hours at £18 per hour.

£10 per hour. All hours worked above 40 hours paid at £15 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Driver

• Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers – This will be to hotels and
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
• Be ‘the face’ of the business when meeting customers.

Warehouse Operative

• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
• Some manual handling will be involved.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential requirements;

• Flexible to start / finish times
• Full UK Driving Licence – No DR’s or DG’s allowed.
• Good timekeeping
