Warehouse Operative-Birmingham

We have some FANTASTIC new roles with a local company offering regular hours and job stability.

Basic duties of the role are:

Inducting parcels onto the sorter following company compliance procedures

Stacking parcels into a trailer to a high standard ensuring full capacity of trailer is used

*
Moving cages full of parcels to correct destination doors

*
Movement of pallet of parcels using pump trucks

*
Sorting parcels from a conveyor belt to the correct destination cage

*
Full compliance of health and safety training at all times including manual handling

Attributes required

*
Physically fit and able

*
Flexible to move from section to section if required

*
Drive to provide customer with best possible service

*
Able to listen and conduct instruction given

*
Being able to work in a fast environment

Shifts may be any of the below, but these vary often depending on workload so applicants must be flexible;

15:00-02:00

17:00 – 04:00

21:00 – 05:30

23:00- 06:30

The work can also be any day of the week and is all night shifts, after initial period with the agency the pay will increase for successful candidates and permanent opportunities can be offered. We need flexible people for this job as the start time may change each night between 3pm & 10pm.
