Warehouse Operative

Prodrive Recruitment are looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join a busy growing team at a company based in Stratford upon Avon. This role is a permanent role and is available immediately after a successful interview,

Job purpose:

To ensure components are inspected, located, picked, and packed as outlined in the product section process. Ensuring that all data is kept and recorded in the correct procedure. Working to ensure that warehouse targets and objectives are achieved

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

* Inspection of core to ensure quality criteria is acceptable.

* Locate/Pick core as detailed in the section procedure.

* Pack orders correctly to avoid damage to the core.

* Record keeping and filing updated and maintained. SAP included.

* Carry out stock take as requested and make stock adjustments.

* Ensure good housekeeping is maintained.

* To ensure ladders and forklifts are checked daily before use.

* To carry out any additional work that is required by the Warehouse Manager.

Experience and skill requirements:

* To be a Self-motivated person and able to get with the task in hand

* Keen to learn with the ability to adhere to company processes and procedures

* Enthusiastic and positive attitude required

* Ability to go the extra mile for people to get the job done

* Experience of working in a warehouse environment preferred but not essential

* A forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential

* To be Computer Literate and able to complete paperwork where needed.

Important information:

* Working: Monday – Thursday 7.30 am – 4.30pm and Friday – 7.30am – 1pm

* Salary is £26,000per year (+) depending on experience
