Warehouse Operative

General Description:

Assisting with the picking and issuing inbound / outbound goods and materials for our clients group of companies, including the safe storage, location and perpetual inventory check(s) in line with our clients group policies. Provide a high level of customer service ensuring materials are processed in line with daily / weekly requirements.

Responsibilities:

Execution of material requests / requirements in line with daily / weekly operational needs.

* Receiving and issuing of inbound / outbound goods and materials.
* Loading and unloading of delivery and despatch vehicles as required.
* Data input into the ERP warehouse system.
* Checking inbound consignments for order compliance including C of C paperwork and test certificates.
* Ensuring materials are safely packed for shipment in line with RHA shipping requirements.
* Fork lift truck material movements into and out of warehouse racking locations.
* Interface internally with clients departments inc, internal Suppliers, Engineering, Projects, Sales Front Desk, Strategic Sales & Finance, QHSE as appropriate.
* Other appropriate manual duties as may be directed from time to time.

Education Requirements:

* 4 – 7 years functional expert
* NVQ level 2.
* Numerate.
* FLT licence.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Working knowledge of ERP / MRP Systems.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Extended hours / unsocial hours working may be required.
