Warehouse Operative

The suitable applicant will be highly self motivated & enthusiastic, have a proven track record in a warehouse environment of which will include goods in/goods out, PC based stock control, order picking & packing with a “can do” approach. You will also possess excellent organisational skills and some customer service skills as you will be dealing with customers on the trade counter daily.

Role includes:
Picking & Packing Orders
Serving trade customers on the trade counter
Goods in/out responsibilities in the warehouse
Stock and customer orders
Working closely with the Purchasing to ensure adequate stock levels
Stock taking
Telephones
Customer product returns
Assisting with the all general warehouse duties
Fairly physical role as you will be working in the warehouse which includes lifting duties.

Experience
Warehouse experience with hardware, electrical wholesale or trade counter experience with a customer service background is beneficial. Previous engineering experience particularly with mechanical components or electrical components would be highly ideal for this role. Previous trade counter experience is also desirable.

Any experience of interpreting technical drawings & knowledge of Sage accounts software is highly advantageous. An FLT license is also advantageous but not essential. A full driving license is also an advantage.

starting salary of £26,000per year
Monday – Thursday – 8am – 5pm & Friday 8am – 4pm.
