Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work at a major supermarket’s distribution centre in Burton Latimer, near Kettering.

The rate of pay is:

– Days: £26,000 per year
– Lates: £26,000 per year
– Nights: £26,000 per year

The rates of pay are below after the following 12 weeks of service:

– Days: £26,000 per year
– Lates: £26,000 per year + Shift Premium per shift
– Nights: £26,000 per year + £16.96 Shift Premium per shift
– All Weekends Shifts after 12 weeks of service include a Saturday & Sunday shift premiums per shift

Overtime is paid at time and a half – £26,000 per year.

The hours of work are:

– Days 5:30 am to 1:30 pm – Fresh Department
– Days 6am to 2pm – Ambient Department
– Lates 2pm to 10pm – Ambient Department
– Lates 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm – Fresh Department
– Nights – 6pm pm to 2am – Ambient Department
– Nights – 10 pm to 6am – Ambient Department

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative, you will pick orders for distribution for one of the leading supermarkets in the UK.

All Colleagues in the Ambient Department are required to operate PPT Trucks.

You will be required to pull/push cages and pallets or pick loads of up to 20kg in weight.

The Fresh Department operates in Temperatures of around 3 to 7 degrees and the Produce Department operates in Temperatures of around 8 degrees.

Accuracy and the ability to work safely at a pace is essential.

No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.
