Warehouse / Forklift Driver

My client who is a family run business and renowned for exceptional and specialised service are looking for a like minded Warehouse Operative who has a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join their esteemed company. It is vital that you will be able to adapt and fit in to this close team and have the ability to work off of your own imitative.

Your main duties will include;
• Prioritising warehouse schedules and meeting predetermined targets
• Stock management
• Logistics of all stock on site across 2 warehouses
• Loading/ Unloading lorries
• Adhere to, up hold and implement all health and safety procedures
• Weekly management meetings to monitor company progression
• Monthly stock management
• Consulting occasionally with the general public in relation to the specialised service provided by the company

The successful candidate will have an understanding and working knowledge of maintaining a warehouse environment. Ideally you will have worked in a busy warehouse environment previously and can demonstrate competence on a Forklift. This will be a hands on role and you will be required to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
You must be able to solve daily challenges that face this fast paced company efficiently and coherently. The company works hard to promote a positive and supportive approach to their business.
You will be hands on with a strategic mind with a friendly and outgoing personality.

The position is Monday to Friday 7AM-4PM based on a 40hour week with a half an hour lunch break and you may be asked to work additional hours to support the business needs. You will also receive 22 days holiday per year.
