Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator

Salary: £26,000 per year

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity for you to join a dynamics, e-commerce company at their site based in Gateshead as a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator. This is a newly created role and will see you working in a stand-alone position within a small environment, dealing with high value items.

THE DUTIES

As Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator, you will work in a stand-alone, hands-on role. However, there is definite potential for progression to management level and for you to develop a team in the long term. This is also a real chance for you to offer ideas and recommend improvements as a valued member of the business.

Your duties will include:

Processing inbound products. This will include weighing and measuring items and adding information onto an inventory spreadsheet.

Conducting weekly stock checks across three different brands of products.

Releasing and recording the whereabouts of products.

Fulfilling orders on a daily basis, ensuring packaging and presentation guidelines are adhered to.

Ordering packaging such as packing paper, stickers, boxes, tape and keeping a healthy inventory of all order related materials.

Processing exchanges and item related issues at the request of customer services.

Ensuring security is kept tight and that all stock is accounted for.

Reorganising and restructuring stock room for the arrival of new lines of stock.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

To be shortlisted for the position of Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator, you should:

Carry experience in a similar role

Be confident with completing stock checks and fulfilling orders

Be accurate in your approach and bring strong attention to detail and time management skills

Carry experience and knowledge of using Microsoft Excel

Bring an ambitious and motivated approach to offer ideas and develop the warehousing function

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

will receive a starting annual salary of between £26,000and £25,000 for this position, depending on your experience.

This is full-time, permanent contract, working from 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday – Friday.
