I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of our largest clients, an NHS organisation based in West Yorkshire I’m currently searching for a Software Developer to join their team on an exciting project, which involves copying, moving and developing a Risk Management system.

The successful candidate will be required to work on projects single handed or as part of a team on large projects; their duties will include:
*Develop and maintain databases, reports and websites for a wide variety of customers from health & social care organisations
*Developing data processes and reports using SSRS technology
*Act as a key member of the Software Development team developing.NET based solutions and hosted on in-house and ISP based web servers

Essential:
*Must be experienced and proficient in HTML/ASP.NET v3.5/v4, Visual Studio 2008/2010, VB.NET
*Knowledge of database design and development using MS SQL Server 2005/2008
*Experience of developing and embedding SSRS reports into ASP.NET applications
*Forms authentication/.net SQL membership provider
*Relevant industry level qualifications, in software development, database development and systems support
*Understanding of the capabilities and features of relevant technologies associated with software developments e.g. Development tools, Application Servers, Database Servers etc
*Knowledge of Databases and data processing gained from a combination of experience and training
*Maintain an understanding of existing and emerging Internet and Web technologies
*Highly motivated and reliable
*At least 3 years development experience
*Good Customer Care skills
*Ability to communicate clearly and precisely
*Approachable and able to work under pressure
*Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
*Work with Senior Developers to analyse customers demands and recommend appropriate solution set
*Ability to produce project documentation

Desirable:
*Working knowledge of Disability and Discrimination Act, W3C and NHS usability guidelines
*AJAX, JQuery, Subversion
*VBA
*CSS, XML, JavaScript, C#.Net, LINQ to SQL, and Object Oriented Programming
*Knowledge of Agile Software Development
*Experience with search engine friendly website design
*Experience with accessible website design.
