Vocational Learning Advisor / Assessor – Adult Care

Are you experienced in the Adult Care/Social Care Industry? Have you worked to supervisory or management level? Do you hold a Level 2 & Level 3 Qualification in Health & Social Care or Nursing? Are you a Car Owner, and eligible to live and work in the UK?

Babcock is one of the UK’s largest training providers offering government funded Apprenticeships to 16-24 year olds, providing work-based learning in the Adult Care industry.

We are looking to expand our Work-Based Learning team and are seeking for a suitable candidate who is looking to become a Vocational Learning Advisor/Assessor and join our team in Lincoln/Grantham/Boston to cover the Lincolnshire area.

This exciting position will allow you to draw on your experience of the Adult Care/Social Care industry to provide learners in their workplaces with support and training, enabling them to realise their career potential.

Responsibilities include:
Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their NVQ/QCF qualifications Maintaining documentation on learners progression
Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners
Delivering learner portfolios to agreed standards
Working as part of a regional team
Building and developing relationships with Employers

In return you will receive:
A starting salary of £26,000(rising to £20,500 after probationary period)
