This is a high-volume outbound calling B2B sales role, focused on upsell and cross-sell of additional products and services to Verastar’s existing customer base.  A key requirement of the role is that all activity performed aligns to Verastar’s values and sales behaviours, with a customer-centric focus maintained at all times.

Responsibilities of the role (What we want you to do)

Outbound call to Verastar customers to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services
Perform all activity within regulatory standards, GDPR and quality policies
Complete all reports, system and CRM updates in a timely and accurate manner
Develop an expert level knowledge of Verastar’s products, systems and business processes
Create excellent working relationships across the Verastar colleague community.
Success Measures (What success in the role looks like)

Achieve all sales targets in a consistent manner (month-by-month)
Achieve all agreed activity targets
Operate within Verastar quality guidelines
Achieve all objectives agreed with the Customer Growth Sales Manager
Receive above par scores from customer satisfaction surveys and internal feedback.
Experience (What you need to have already done to be right for this role)

A minimum of 2-years demonstrable success in a high-volume desk-based B2B sales role
Experience of negotiating multiple product, price and contract terms with customers
A good level of understanding of B2B sales processes
A good level of  understanding of regulatory requirements impacting B2B sales organisations
Computer literate with experience of sales CRM, and/or Lead Management systems.

Good written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to adapt communication styles to individual customers
High level of attention to detail and organisation, with a sense of ownership, pride and responsibility for the accuracy of own work
The drive, resilience and focus required to win in a competitive sales environment
A genuine interest in own development and learning needs, with the energy and desire to act on them to improve own performance
A professional and pleasant demeanour, with the desire to create good working relationships with both colleagues and customers.
Qualifications and other requirements

Industry Experience: Information Technology, Utilities and/or Service provision preferred, but not essential
Location: Within commuting distance of office location, essential.
