Salary: £32,336.23 per annum (minus 10% during competency training period of up to 6 months) plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 3.30pm and Fridays 7.30am – 3pm.

Location: Edinburgh, West Lothian, (The role will require flexibility to travel and work at any of the 4 sites: Newbridge, East Calder, Whitburn and Blackburn.)

What you’ll be doing;

Optimisation and Maintenance of all processes and assets across all local wastewater sites.

Carry out on-site sampling and analysis.

Report directly to the working Supervisor on all aspects of site operations, compliance and efficiency.

Manage and support/cooperate with contractors.

Support in managing site security and respond to alarms and adverse developments.

Responsible for the completion of planned preventative and planned corrective maintenance in the assigned operational area and the accurate and timely completion of work orders and associated documentation.

Provide technical support/feedback to senior members of the maintenance and operations teams to facilitate capital work interventions.

Participate in a proactive manner in teamwork activities and be responsible for providing technical assistance to all site teams.

Assist the wider team where required in troubleshooting and problem-solving associated with asset-related issues.

Report accurate data into the computerised maintenance management system or other IT package as required.

Provide up to date asset information.

Manage on-site activities through the correct use of all relevant Permit to Work systems.
